The SM Electrical Supplies Returns Policy
At SM we are happy to offer a 30-day peace of mind returns policy for all products on our website. The following terms and conditions apply:
Undamaged Product Returns
If you would like to return an undamaged item, we would ask that you first contact our customer service team at online@smsupplies.com. All returns must be made within 30 days of delivery date or the item in question may not qualify for refund (starting the day after receiving order). The date of delivery will be noted by our delivery team and couriers.
Damaged Product Returns
You should never have to worry about getting stuck with a bad product, however, we have a stringent return policy that requires all returns be sent back to our warehouse in Kirkcaldy.
We do not accept any returns at the Edinburgh branch, however, we can honour warranties, as required under Consumer Contracts (information cancellation fees) Regulations 2013. This warranty period begins on the day of receiving goods.

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, customers have a duty of care while the goods are in their possession. We request all goods are returned with their original packaging, complete with all other associated accessories or documentation sent with them. Goods should not have been installed, modified, or used in any way.
Unwanted Items
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will happily refund the cost of any returned items. You have a 30-day window to cancel an order and get all of your money back.

SM Electrical Supplies will in no way be liable for any costs incurred due to faulty goods or shortages. This includes electrician fees and the like.
If you don't qualify for a refund under our criteria, then we cannot offer one. This does not affect your statutory rights.
